Ancillary products

What have I found out from research into these products?

I have found that it is essential to keep a sense of brand identity between poster and album art. This shows a direct link between the two, eliminates confusion and allows the audience to associate the album art seen on the poster with the album upon release and makes for more possible buyers.
There seems to be a generic theme among posters of 'Artist at the top, picture in the middle, details at the bottom'. This has proven effective for all of the adverts which I analysed so I will carry it forth into my Ancillary products.
All of the albums I analysed had a mood or feel to the album art. I will be implementing this into my album cover. They also seem to follow a theme from the front ranging all the way to the back and sidebar. The artist name has been boldly included on the front of all albums of this sort, so Iwill do the same while not drawing attention away from the images.

Here is the CD put together, in the order it would be seen. I have added a CD design which looks home-made which allows me to keep to pop-punk conventions.
